Prospect House Wedding

Oh gosh, I just love this venue. Whenever a couple says, “We’re getting married at Prospect House” it’s always a yes from me. Don’t get me wrong, I love lush landscapes and dreamy outdoor locations. But Prospect House does a lovely job at merging nature and modern lines.

This wedding in particular was such a joy, a couple truly in love, and I felt so happy for them and honored to be there at the same time. I brought along Heather from Writ Studio once again to help me capture all the details.

This ceremony included a Warming of the Rings, which I’d never seen before and I was so touched by it. I loved that the guests were able to be apart of their ceremony by saying a little prayer, or just holding the rings in their hands. I’ve also seen the washing of the feet my fair share, but weirdly I cried during this part. I don’t know, man, it caught me off guard. I think it was because I could tell by the act how much they cared for each other and how tenderly they touch each other. Still gets me thinking about it.

This was one of my favorite weddings so far this year, and I can’t wait to shoot here two more times before the year is over (seriously, keep em’ comin’ Prospect House). I couldn’t have done it without my bestie Heather Pitts of Writ Studio. As always, she kills it with her boss lady skills and amazing photography skills.
