Downtown Austin Couples Session
Let me start off by saying that I’m obsessed with this session. It was early morning in July, super hot, but beautiful bright sun. These two came into town from Florida to get some wedding planning done and to meet up with me for their quick couples session. I love it when couples say, “oh, we’re awkward, we don’t know what to do, etc etc” and then they’re literally models. Enter Nadia and Colin, the sweetest couple ever.
We started on South Congress so they can see quintessential “Austin” spots, and I so I could play tour guide for a little bit before we needed an A/C break.
We got nice and cool and we decided to take a few cute “in home”-esque pictures at my Bnb before we headed to our next location.
I was super surprised when they pulled out maps and started reminiscing about all the places they’ve traveled together all over the world. My first thought was that they must have an incredible bond and badass friendship to do all of that together. You can see it in these next photos. It’s super important for me as a photographer to get close and capture the closeness of a couple. I can’t wait to see them on their wedding day. I’m crying already.
I come to this place, and this place I mean Red Bud Isle, all the time with my pups and it’s such a gorgeous little spot in the morning. It’s just a couple minutes from downtown and then all of a sudden you’re in nature/dog heaven.
